Fast & Furious star Paul walker dies in car crash

Its a new month and we've lost a celebrity again, how sad. The US actor who starred in the Fast and Furious series lost his life in a car crash in California.

Walker, 40, was a passenger in a Porsche sports car driven by a friend - who also died - when it crashed north of Los Angeles.

Walker was said to be attending a charity event at the time.

He starred in all but one of the films in the Fast & Furious franchise, the sixth of which opened in May.

Walker also starred in the suspense drama Hours, a movie that is set for release this month.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's department said the crash happened in the community of Valencia.

The car burst into flames after the crash
It said deputies found a car engulfed in flames when they responded to a report of a collision. Two people found in the car were pronounced dead at the scene.

Images showed the burned-out wreckage of a red Porsche by the side of the road.

"It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organisation Reach Out Worldwide," the statement on the actor's Facebook page said.

"He was a passenger in a friend's car, in which both lost their lives. We... are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news.''

Universal Pictures also issued a statement, saying studio staff were "heartbroken" by Walker's death.

"Paul was truly one of the most beloved and respected members of our studio family for 14 years, and this loss is devastating to us, to everyone involved with the Fast & Furious films, and to countless fans.

"We send our deepest and most sincere condolences to Paul's family."

Walker played undercover agent Brian O'Conner in the Fast & Furious movies.

The first film of the franchise was released in 2001 and the seventh is in development.

Walker was one of the leading protagonists, along with Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez.

Diesel said in a post on Instagram: "Brother I will miss you very much. I am absolutely speechless. Heaven has gained a new Angel. Rest in Peace."

BBM 8:Great move or big mistake?????

A couple of days ago,I heard gists about the new BBM 8 for blackberry and being a tech fanatic I decided to "upgrade" my BBM.
16hours later,I was like "Dang,I just made a big mistake". Granted the new bbm has a pretty cool layout and the new "BBM channel" channel thingy. It can get pretty frustrating, the new BBM hangs a lot which is very very annoying.
I can't even check people's updates with having the clock tick for like 20seconds,WTF!!!!!
I dunno how u guys feel about the new BBM. Is it good or bad?? Let's hear your opinion

Lorde Denies Nicki Minaj,Drake diss

If you were hoping for a right royal bust-up between 17-year-old Lorde
and self-styled "King and Queen of New York" Nicki Minaj, you're going
to be disappointed.

After accusations(which pissed me off ) that she had badmouthed both Minaj and Canadian
rapper Drake, the Royals singer took to Twitter to defend herself. "I
have nothing but love and admiration for both nicki and drake (have
said this x1000)," Lorde tweeted last night.

"Just because their songs aren't my reality (being 17 and from
auckland) doesn't mean i don't admire their musicianship and
careers!," she stated in a follow-up tweet.

In a recent chat with Interview Magazine, the talented songstress was
quoted as saying: "Around the middle of last year I started listening
to a lot of rap, like Nicki Minaj and Drake, as well as pop singers
like Lana Del Rey."

"They all sing about such opulence, stuff that just didn't relate to
me -- or anyone that I knew, I began thinking, 'How are we listening
to this? It's completely irrelevant.'"

Nice try @ComplexMag, but i have nothing but love and admiration
for both nicki and drake (have said this x1000)

Eminem Pees on the floor during BBC interveiw

Eminem wouldn't be a Rap god if he wasn't competitive, but it isn't just beats and rhymes with Marshall Mathers; he wants to have the best interviews too.
"I'm super-excited to be here," Em told BBC journalist Zane Lowe in the first part of their interview, which was posted to YouTube on Monday (November 18).

This year Lowe has done high-profile interviews with Jay Z and Kanye West; his interview with Yeezy made major headlines and waywardly caused a beef between 'Ye and comedian Jimmy Kimmel. The tiff between Kanye and Kimmel has since been settled, but Em devised a plan to make his sit down with the U.K. journo even bigger than his fellow rap titans.
"I was trying to figure out how I was going to top the publicity of yours and Kanye's interview, so I decided I was gonna walk in here, and just pee on the floor and leave," Em told Lowe before he starred at him with a deadpan glare, holding his pose for several seconds.
"I'm peeing right now," he said jokingly.

Eminem Had A 'Theme' Early On For 'The Mashall Mathers LP 2'

It was by far the funniest moment of the 13-minute segment. For the duration of the clip Em sat and answered questions about his live performance, conceptualizing his latest The Marshall Mathers LP 2 and his work with iconic producer Rick Rubin.
"I had my reservations because I felt like  I'm a super-fan of Rick — so I'd probably be a little nervous," he admitted of his initial feelings working with the Grammy Award-winning producer. "I don't know what the vibe would be just because I would be wanting to impress him. So it was very much like the feeling I got early on with Dre."
Em admits that he wasn't sure if he and Rubin would be able to come up with anything, but Rubin's zen-like style of collaboration quickly put the multiplatinum rapper at ease. "When I met him, the guy's so laid back, that it made it easy," he said.
The collaboration worked. Rubin produced four tracks on MMLP2 and got executive producer credit on the album, which went on to sell 792,000 copies in its first week of release, earning the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 Albums chart.

Asuu:Is there still hope this year????

The four month Asuu strike is taking a devastating toll on Nigerian students, most of them are at home with nothing to keep them occupied. There ve been news of pregnant students(Lmao) and I don't blame them them for it is said that 'An idle mind is the devil's workshop".I for one almost lost my mind due to boredom but thank God for my music career

Hopes were high this week as Asuu's NEC meeting was set to take place on wednesday but unfortunately Mr  Iyayi,a former Asuu president and executive died in an accident on his way to the meeting.Due to this devastating incident,Asuu suspended its NEC meeting indefinitely, causing a wave of panic amongst students and parents nationwide.
Is this any hope for Nigerian students this year???Only God knows.
